Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for stroke and brain patients in an acute care hospital in Kansas City, Missouri on a 13-week contract. The 16-bed unit uses cardiac monitoring and Meditech, with a 4:1 ratio.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes promptly
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips per unit practice
• Assess neurological status and support stroke care
• Provide bedside care for progressive care patients with complex needs
• Collaborate with the care team on daily treatment plans
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS and NIHSS
• Progressive care, telemetry and stroke experience
• Cardiac drip management experience
• Neurology experience
