Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Columbia, MO

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for stepdown patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Columbia, Missouri. The unit serves surgical, medical, and occasional neuro patients and uses respiratory support, infusion therapy, and close monitoring.

• Assess and monitor stepdown patients with surgical, medical, and occasional neuro needs
• Titrate vasoactive drips and respond to changes in hemodynamic status
• Manage PICC, central, and arterial lines along with dialysis fistulas
• Provide CPAP, BiPAP, and tracheostomy care
• Assist with epidural and PCA pumps, feeding tubes, and wound vacs
• Support IV access, bladder scanning, and bedside patient care

• Active Missouri Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS
• 2 years critical care experience

• ICU and PCU experience
• CVP monitoring
• 12-lead EKG experience
• Sheath removal and cardioversion/defibrillation
