Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Chattanooga, TN

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for complex cardiac, medical, and surgical patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The 29-bed unit uses Meditech, works with a 4:1 ratio, and serves a heavy cardiac population.

• Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and chart findings
• Titrate ordered cardiac infusions and manage drips
• Assist with chest tubes, tracheostomy care, central lines, Foley management, and feeding tubes
• Support wound vac care, specimen collection, mobility, and ADLs
• Use mobile devices for communication and chart review

• Current Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• PCU or critical care experience
• Cardiac telemetry experience
• IV insertion, chest tube, DHT, tracheostomy, CVC, EKG, and Foley management skills
