Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Chattanooga, TN

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for cardiac step-down patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The 30-bed unit uses Meditech, telemetry, and a 1:6 ratio for cardiac med-surg patients.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and EKG changes
• Administer cardiac medications and titrated drips
• Assess progressive care and med-surg patients
• Document care and responses in Meditech
• Collaborate with charge nurse and support staff
• Obtain and review 12-lead EKGs as needed

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Progressive care or med-surg experience
• Telemetry and EKG rhythm identification
• Cardiac medication and drip management
• Meditech charting experience
