Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Chattanooga, TN

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide intermediate care for complex cardiac, medical, and surgical patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The 29-bed unit uses Meditech, maintains a 4:1 ratio, and cares for a heavy cardiac population with telemetry support.

• Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and document care thoroughly
• Administer and titrate IV medications and drips
• Assist with chest tube, tracheostomy, DHT, and CVC care
• Support EKGs, IV starts, Foley care, wound vacs, and mobility
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient and family care

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• PCU, critical care, or cardiac telemetry experience
• Strong IV insertion, EKG, and line management skills
