Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Chattanooga, TN

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide cardiac step-down nursing care in a hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee on a 13-week contract. The 30-bed unit uses Meditech, telemetry, bedside rounding, and hourly rounding.

• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Manage cardiac drips per protocol
• Assess step-down patients and respond to condition changes
• Administer medications and coordinate bedside care
• Assist with chest tube and wound vac management
• Obtain and document EKGs and rhythm strips
• Communicate patient needs to the care team

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Progressive care and telemetry nursing skills
• Strong rhythm strip documentation and medication management skills

• Cardiac step-down experience
