Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Chattanooga, TN

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide bedside care on a cardiac med-surg step-down unit in Chattanooga, Tennessee for a 13-week contract. The 30-bed unit uses Meditech and telemetry monitoring with 1:5 to 1:6 staffing and cardiac drips such as Cardizem and heparin.

• Monitor telemetry and recognize rhythm changes
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips per protocol
• Document rhythm strips and patient responses in Meditech
• Perform bedside rounding and communicate changing needs
• Assist with chest tube and wound vac management
• Support coordination with the charge nurse and care team

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Med-surg and telemetry experience
• Meditech experience
• EKG rhythm identification
