Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Chattanooga, TN

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for complex medical, cardiac, and surgical patients in a hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee on a 13-week contract. The 29-bed unit serves a heavy cardiac population with a 4:1 ratio and uses Meditech charting.

• Monitor complex progressive care patients
• Titrate cardiac and other ordered drips
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and document findings
• Manage telemetry and related cardiac monitoring
• Assist with chest tubes, central lines, tracheostomy care, and feeding tubes
• Support wound care, IV starts, and patient mobility

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Progressive care, critical care, or cardiac telemetry experience
• IV insertion, chest tube management, DHT and tracheostomy care, CVC management
• EKG, Foley management, and early mobility skills
