Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Chattanooga, TN

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide cardiac step-down care during a 13-week contract in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The unit uses Meditech and telemetry monitoring with a patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1.

• Monitor telemetry and document rhythm strips
• Administer cardiac drips and support patient stability
• Assist with chest tube and wound vac management
• Perform bedside rounding and hourly rounding with 5P checks
• Coordinate care with hospitalists and PCTs
• Support EKG collection and review on the unit

• Current Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke certification
