Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Hermitage, TN

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital in Hermitage, Tennessee on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech and cares for cardiac, stroke and post-cardiac cath patients with ratios of 1:4 to 1:6 and support from techs.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and escalate changes
• Manage cardiac, insulin and heparin drips
• Support noninvasive and high-flow oxygen therapy
• Assist with peritoneal dialysis and wound vac care
• Provide stroke and post-cardiac cath nursing care
• Coordinate tube feedings, NG/dobhoff care and patient education

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• EKG rhythm interpretation
• Cardiac, insulin and heparin drip experience
• Bipap, high-flow oxygen and peripheral IV skills
• Tube feeding and NG/dobhoff tube experience

• Peritoneal dialysis experience
