Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide bedside care on a 13-week contract in Nashville, Tennessee, in an acute care hospital. The 20-bed unit uses Meditech and cares for patients at a 6:1 ratio with telemetry, continuous pulse oximetry, and stroke and trauma resources.

• Assess and prioritize progressive care patients
• Monitor telemetry, oxygenation, and vital signs
• Start IVs and maintain vascular access
• Provide basic wound care and drain care
• Assist with nasogastric tubes and chest tubes
• Support bedside shift report and care planning
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS certification
• Med-surg experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Ability to prioritize care and multitask
