Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for neuro stepdown patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Nashville, Tennessee. The unit includes acute care and stepdown beds, uses Meditech, and treats stroke and other neurologic cases. It is a strong starting point for nurses building toward ICU practice.

• Monitor acute care and neuro stepdown patients
• Administer and titrate cardiac and respiratory drips
• Support stroke care and neurologic assessments
• Assist with lumbar puncture and chest tube placement
• Manage high-flow oxygen, BiPAP, tracheostomy, and suction support
• Document care in Meditech and complete bedside handoff
• Collaborate with charge nurse, techs, and unit secretary

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Acute care nursing experience
• Strong time management and critical thinking skills

• Neuro stepdown experience
