Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Nashville, Tennessee. The unit has 20 beds, a 6:1 ratio, Meditech charting, telemetry, and support from techs and a unit secretary. It serves a comprehensive stroke and Level II trauma population.

• Monitor progressive care patients and telemetry trends
• Administer medications and IV therapy
• Start IVs and maintain vascular access
• Assist with wound care and dressing changes
• Manage nasogastric tubes, surgical drains, and chest tubes
• Document care in Meditech and communicate changes promptly
• Support bedside handoff and patient and family education

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Medical-surgical experience
• Ability to prioritize care and multitask
• IV insertion and drain or tube management skills
