Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Cookeville, TN

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adults on a cardiac stepdown unit during a 13-week contract in Cookeville, Tennessee. The unit has a 4:1 ratio, 32 beds, and bedside vital sign monitoring.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies
• Support BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula care
• Manage chest tubes, feeding tubes, and vascular access devices
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care for cardiac patients
• Collaborate with rapid response teams and other support services

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• NIHSS
• 2 years of cardiac stepdown or progressive care experience
• Cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia recognition, and IV therapy skills
• BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, central line, and chest tube experience

• Port access and management
• Procedural sedation monitoring
• Surgical drain and wound care experience
• Cardiac drip titration and unit telemetry monitoring
