Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Chattanooga, TN

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for cardiac step-down patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The 30-bed unit uses Meditech and telemetry, with a typical 5:1 to 6:1 ratio and cardiac infusions.

• Assess and monitor cardiac step-down patients
• Administer and titrate ordered cardiac infusions
• Track telemetry rhythms and document strips
• Manage chest tubes and wound vacs
• Perform bedside and hourly rounding
• Coordinate care with hospitalists, PCTs, and charge nurses
• Respond to alarms and changing patient needs

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac infusion skills
