Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Hermitage, TN

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for adults in a hospital progressive care unit on a 13-week contract in Hermitage, Tennessee. The unit uses Meditech and includes 34- and 25-bed areas with ratios of 1:4 to 1:5 on days and 1:5 to 1:6 on nights, supporting patients who need cardiac monitoring, respiratory support, and drip management.

• Monitor telemetry and interpret EKG rhythms
• Manage cardiac, insulin, and heparin drips
• Assist with peritoneal dialysis and wound vac troubleshooting
• Support care for stroke and post cardiac cath patients
• Help with NG/dobhoff tubes and tube feedings
• Document care in Meditech and coordinate with the team

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• EKG rhythm interpretation and critical thinking skills
• Cardiac, insulin, and heparin drip experience
• Peripheral IV skills
• Experience with bipaps, high-flow oxygen, tube feedings, and NG/dobhoff tubes

• Peritoneal dialysis experience
