Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for admitted patients in a clinical decision unit in Asheville, North Carolina, on a 13-week contract. The unit handles ED admits, uses Cerner charting, and typically works at 1:5 to 1:6 ratios.

• Complete admission assessments for ED patients
• Reconcile medications and begin ordered care
• Monitor adults with varied progressive care needs
• Administer IV therapies and support bedside treatment
• Coordinate with CNAs and other team members
• Escalate changes in patient condition promptly

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years recent MedSurg, telemetry, and step-down experience
• Strong teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced unit

• Charge nurse experience
