Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Arlington, VA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adult to geriatric cardiac telemetry patients in a hospital cardiac stepdown unit on a 13-week contract in Arlington, Virginia. The unit has 24 rooms, a 1:5 ratio, and uses EPIC.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes
• Assess patients with CHF, chest pain, dysrhythmias, and post MI needs
• Administer cardiac medications and manage select continuous infusions
• Coordinate care for post catheterization and post pacemaker or ICD patients
• Provide care for med-surg patients with cardiac needs
• Collaborate with the care team on telemetry and symptom changes

• Active Virginia or compact Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• 2 years of nursing experience
• Recent cardiac telemetry experience within the past one year
• EPIC experience within the past 12 months
