Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Olympia, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for adults and geriatrics in an acute care hospital in a 13-week contract in Olympia, Washington. The assignment includes PCU, step down, telemetry, and med surg patients, with Epic charting and ratios of 1:4 to 1:6.

• Monitor telemetry and recognize rhythm changes
• Assess and stabilize adults and geriatrics with step down and med surg needs
• Titrate cardiac drips and manage vasoactive drips as ordered
• Perform IV starts, central line care, PICC care, and blood product administration
• Provide care for tracheostomy, feeding tube, BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow support
• Respond to rapid changes and support charge duties, bed flow, and team coordination

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• 3 years of acute care experience in the US
• Charge nurse experience
• Epic charting system experience

• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Cardiac surgery, cardiac cath, and post MI care
• Wound care and wound vac experience
