Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Olympia, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide progressive care for adults and geriatrics in a short-term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Olympia, Washington. The caseload includes telemetry, medical-surgical, and ER-boarded patients, with a variable 1:4-6 ratio and Epic charting. Charge support may be part of some small units.

• Monitor telemetry and recognize rhythm changes
• Interpret dysrhythmias and escalate concerns
• Provide care for adult and geriatric step-down patients
• Administer treatments and support oxygen therapy
• Coordinate charge duties on small units when assigned
• Collaborate with IV, respiratory, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of United States acute care Registered Nurse experience
• Cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and management skills
• Previous charge nurse experience
• Epic charting experience

• ACLS certification
• NIHSS
