Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics in a hospital stepdown unit on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The 42-bed unit uses Epic in a Level II trauma, teaching hospital, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry and respond to rhythm changes
• Manage and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Care for chest pain, Afib RVR and post MI patients
• Support patients after cardiac catheterization and heart surgery
• Perform line, respiratory and wound care
• Administer blood products and anticoagulation protocols
• Coordinate with rapid response and support services

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS and NIHSS
• 1 year of progressive care, stepdown or telemetry experience
• Epic charting experience
• Ability to manage and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips

• Previous charge experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Experience with renal transplant, seizure disorders, skin grafts or TURP patients
