Travel PICU RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide pediatric critical care across pediatric units in a hospital on a 52-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. Care includes neonates through adolescents, with Epic charting and a mix of intensive, acute, and emergency pediatric patients.

• Provide bedside care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents with complex medical and surgical needs
• Monitor ventilation, oxygenation, hemodynamics, and neurologic status
• Manage central lines, arterial lines, IV therapy, and vasoactive infusions
• Assist with intubation, procedural sedation, and emergency interventions
• Administer blood products, medications, and enteral nutrition support
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in Epic

• Virginia Registered Nurse license, pending licensure accepted
• BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• 2 years of PICU experience
• PICU experience with comfort in NICU, acute pediatrics, and pediatric emergency care
• Epic charting system experience
• Teaching hospital experience and prior travel experience

• ACLS certification
• Pediatric PACU experience
• ECMO experience
• Level III NICU experience
