Travel PICU RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse will provide care on a 52-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. It supports PICU, NICU, acute pediatrics, and the pediatric emergency department in a teaching hospital, with Epic charting.

• Monitor critically ill infants, children, and teens
• Manage ventilators, vasoactive infusions, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Assist with airway support, intubation, and procedural sedation
• Administer medications, blood products, and enteral support
• Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapy, and other disciplines
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in Epic

• Virginia Registered Nurse license, pending allowed
• BLS, NRP, and PALS
• 2 years of PICU experience
• Experience with NICU, acute pediatrics, and pediatric emergency care
• Epic charting system experience
• Teaching hospital experience, prior travel experience, and advanced pediatric critical care skills

• ACLS
• APHON, CPHON, or OCN certification
• ECMO, ventricular assist device, or transplant experience
• Level I or Level II trauma experience
