Travel PICU RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide high-acuity care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents in a pediatric cardiac and medical critical care unit on a 52-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The unit uses Epic and supports ECMO, VAD, and CRRT, with typical ratios of 1:1 or 1:2.

• Monitor pediatric cardiac and medical critical care patients
• Manage ventilators, airway support, and oxygen therapy
• Administer blood products, infusions, and ordered medications
• Track hemodynamics, ABGs, and telemetry findings
• Care for central lines, chest tubes, and feeding tubes
• Assist with intubation, sedation, and procedures
• Support infection control and family-centered care

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• BLS and PALS
• 2 years of PICU experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Pediatric critical care skills with ventilators, airway support, hemodynamic monitoring, arterial lines, ABGs, and dysrhythmias
• Central line, chest tube, feeding tube, medication, and blood product management

• CRRT experience
• Pediatric CVICU experience
• Peritoneal dialysis/CAPD experience
• Trauma Level I experience
