Travel PICU RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for children across PICU, NICU, acute pediatrics, and the pediatric emergency department in Charlottesville, Virginia on a 52-week contract. The setting includes Epic charting and a teaching hospital environment. Care ranges from neonates to adolescents with high-acuity pediatric needs.

• Monitor critically ill infants, children, and adolescents
• Manage ventilators, infusions, and hemodynamic support
• Assist with neonatal and pediatric resuscitation needs
• Support airway, line, and chest tube care
• Administer medications, blood products, and nutrition therapies
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and families
• Document assessments and interventions in Epic

• Virginia Registered Nurse license, pending accepted at start
• BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS
• 2 years of PICU experience with NICU and pediatric emergency care
• Epic charting experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Prior travel experience

• APHON or CPHON certification
• ECMO, CRRT, or ventricular assist device experience
• Congenital heart disease, pediatric cardiac surgery, or pediatric CVICU experience
• Trauma level I or II experience
