Travel PICU RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse will provide care across pediatric intensive care, neonatal intensive care, acute pediatrics, and pediatric emergency settings in Charlottesville, Virginia for a 52-week contract. Epic charting supports care for neonates through adolescents in a teaching hospital environment.

• Provide bedside care for critically ill pediatric and neonatal patients
• Monitor respiratory, hemodynamic, and neurological status
• Support ventilated patients and advanced airway care
• Assist with intubation, lumbar puncture, chest tubes, and sedation monitoring
• Manage central lines, arterial lines, IV access, and blood products
• Document assessments and interventions in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families to coordinate care

• Virginia Registered Nurse license or pending licensure
• BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certification
• 2 years of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience
• Experience with NICU, acute pediatrics, and pediatric emergency care
• Epic charting experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Prior travel experience

• Pediatric PACU experience
• ECMO or CRRT experience
• Charge nurse experience
• Trauma Level I or Level II experience
