Travel PICU RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide critical care across pediatric and neonatal units in a hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. Epic charting, a teaching environment, and mixed pediatric acuity are central to the role.

• Provide critical care for neonates, children, and adolescents
• Monitor ventilators, vasoactive drips, and hemodynamics
• Support intubation, sedation, and airway care
• Manage central lines, arterial lines, and IV therapy
• Administer blood products, medications, and enteral support
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families
• Document assessments and interventions in Epic

• 2 years of PICU experience
• Virginia Registered Nurse license or pending Virginia licensure
• BLS, NRP, and PALS certification
• Epic charting experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Prior travel experience

• ACLS certification
• Advanced pediatric critical care experience with ECMO, CRRT, and ventricular assist devices
• Level III NICU experience
• Trauma level I or II experience
• Charge experience
