Travel PICU RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide pediatric critical care across neonatal and pediatric units on a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The assignment uses Epic and includes a teaching-hospital environment with neonates through adolescents and higher-acuity care areas.

• Provide care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents with critical or acute needs
• Monitor respiratory, cardiac, and hemodynamic status and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies
• Assist with airway support, sedation monitoring, and pediatric procedures
• Document assessments, interventions, and care plans in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and family members to coordinate care

• Virginia Registered Nurse license, pending accepted
• BLS, NRP, and PALS
• 2 years of PICU experience with NICU, acute pediatrics, and pediatric emergency care
• Epic charting experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Prior travel experience

• Pediatric PACU experience
• ACLS
• APHON, CPHON, or OCN
• Cardiac, trauma, transplant, ECMO, or ventricular assist device experience
