Travel PACU RN in Saint Helena, CA

A Travel Post Anesthetic Care Registered Nurse will provide coordinated nursing care for patients recovering from anesthesia in a hospital PACU on a 13-week contract in Saint Helena, California. The role uses critical thinking, independent judgment, and collaboration with other disciplines to support safe recovery and transfer of care.

• Assess patients recovering from anesthesia and monitor status
• Support pain control, nausea management, and comfort measures
• Coordinate care with anesthesia, surgical, and recovery teams
• Supervise and direct assigned nursing staff as needed
• Document patient responses, progress, and discharge readiness
• Respond promptly to changes in condition and escalate concerns

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Care coordination and team collaboration skills
