Travel PACU RN in Torrance, CA

A Travel PACU Post Anesthetic Care Registered Nurse will provide recovery care in a hospital short stay unit on a 13-week contract in Torrance, California. The unit serves pediatric to adult patients with Cerner charting, 16 beds, and 4:1 ratios. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor patients in Phase II recovery and prepare them for discharge
• Assess post-op and cath lab patients after surgical procedures
• Manage airway status, IV access, medications, and pain control
• Perform discharge teaching and follow-up instructions
• Coordinate care with respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and other support teams
• Support safe recovery for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• 1 year PACU experience with ER or ICU background
• Phase II recovery and discharge experience
• Cerner charting experience
