Travel PACU RN in Santa Rosa, CA

A Travel PACU Registered Nurse will provide pre- and post-anesthesia recovery care in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Santa Rosa, California; first-time travelers are welcome. The unit serves surgical and procedural patients across orthopedics, spine, urology, neuro, vascular, cardiology, and endoscopy. It cares for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics and performs regional blocks.

• Assess preoperative and postoperative status
• Monitor airway, pain, and hemodynamic stability
• Recover patients from anesthesia and sedation
• Support regional blocks and procedural recovery
• Coordinate with anesthesia and surgical teams
• Prepare patients for discharge readiness

• California Registered Nurse license, pending licensure accepted
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• 2 years of inpatient acute PACU experience
• Dysrhythmia recognition and management
• Prior travel experience

• Experience with orthopedic, neuro, vascular, urology, thoracic, and endoscopy recovery cases
• CCRN certification
• CPAN certification
• ICU or Level I or Level II trauma experience
