Travel PACU RN in Marysville, CA

A Travel Post Anesthetic Care Registered Nurse will provide recovery care for patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Marysville, California. The role supports neonatal through geriatric patients as assigned and coordinates care with physicians and the health care team. It also includes teaching and discharge planning as part of recovery.

• Assess patients in post-anesthesia recovery and respond to changes in condition
• Monitor airway, vital signs, pain, and level of consciousness during recovery
• Implement nursing care based on the plan of care and patient input
• Collaborate with physicians and the health care team
• Coordinate discharge teaching and planning with patients and families
• Delegate appropriate tasks to nursing staff within scope and competence

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Post-anesthesia or recovery care nursing skills
• Strong assessment, collaboration, and delegation skills
• Experience supporting patient teaching and discharge planning
