Travel PACU RN in Oregon City, OR

A Travel PACU Registered Nurse will provide post-anesthesia recovery care in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Oregon City, Oregon. The 6-room unit serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics and geriatrics, with 1:2 ratios and Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor patients in Phase I PACU recovery
• Assess airway status, vital signs and pain control
• Administer IV medications, blood products and drips as ordered
• Support recovery from sedation, general, regional and local anesthesia
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, drains and urinary catheters
• Interpret rhythm changes, ABGs and lab values
• Document care in Epic and coordinate discharge readiness

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS and PALS
• 1 year of PACU or ICU experience
• Epic charting experience

• CCRN certification
• NIHSS
• Phase II recovery experience
• Previous charge experience
