Travel PACU RN in Wichita, KS

A Travel Post Anesthetic Care Registered Nurse will provide recovery care for postoperative patients in an acute care hospital in Wichita, Kansas on a 13-week contract. The recovery room has 30 beds, 1:2 ratios, and Meditech charting.

• Monitor postoperative patients in the recovery room
• Assess airway, pain, vital signs, and neurologic status
• Support recovery after craniotomy and orthopedic cases
• Administer medications and treatments in the PACU
• Coordinate care with surgeons and anesthesia providers
• Document assessments and interventions in the unit record

• Kansas Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• 1 year of current acute care hospital PACU Registered Nurse experience

• Meditech experience
