Travel PACU RN in Pomona, CA

A Travel PACU Registered Nurse will provide post-anesthesia care in an acute care hospital in Pomona, California on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics after major surgery, with EHR documentation and close monitoring for recovery needs.

• Monitor vital signs, level of consciousness, and pain control after anesthesia
• Administer and titrate medications, including pain medicine and reversal agents
• Assess airway status and respond to post-anesthesia complications
• Start and maintain IV lines and give ordered fluids and medications
• Care for patients recovering from general, vascular, neuro, orthopedic, and trauma surgery
• Document assessments, interventions, and recovery progress in EHR

• California Registered Nurse license
• ADN from an accredited program
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• 3 years of PACU or critical care experience with adults and pediatrics
• Pre-op experience
• IV therapy, airway assessment, and post-anesthesia monitoring skills

• Charting system experience
