Travel PACU RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel PACU Post Anesthetic Care Registered Nurse will provide recovery care for patients after anesthesia in a hospital PACU in Asheville, North Carolina for a 13-week contract. The unit has 40 beds, uses Cerner charting, maintains 1:2 ratios, and has standard PACU equipment with HUC and PCT support.

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia
• Assess airway status, pain, and vital signs
• Support recovery needs for trauma and pediatric cases
• Document care in Cerner
• Collaborate with HUC and PCT support staff
• Prepare patients for transfer to the next level of care

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale experience
• Trauma experience
• Pediatric experience
• Ventilator monitoring skills
