About this job

A Travel Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide perioperative recovery care in an outpatient hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Springfield, Vermont. It supports Periop, Endo and Recovery in a critical access hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients in post anesthesia recovery
  • Assess airway status, vital signs, pain, and sedation
  • Support perioperative, endoscopy, and recovery care
  • Administer ordered medications and IV fluids
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient response
  • Coordinate transfer or discharge readiness with the care team

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse license in Vermont
  • Compact license accepted
  • BLS certification from AHA
  • ACLS certification from AHA
  • PALS certification from AHA
  • High proficiency in Periop, Endo, and Recovery care
