Travel Orthopedics RN in Lonetree, CO

A Travel Orthopedics Registered Nurse will care for orthopedic patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Lone Tree, Colorado. The unit has 44 beds, uses Meditech charting, and generally works with 1:5 ratios. It manages trauma cases and supports mobility with lifts.

• Assess and monitor orthopedic patients recovering from surgery or injury
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and pain management support
• Assist with drains, wound vacs, Foley care, and other postoperative devices
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care
• Support mobility, safe transfers, and patient education
• Assist with drain removal and PICC-related care with the infusion team

• Active Colorado Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital orthopedics experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Orthopedic trauma experience
• Medical-surgical experience
