Travel Orthopedics RN in Englewood, CO

A Travel Orthopedics Registered Nurse will care for elective orthopedic and ortho trauma patients in a 30-bed hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Englewood, Colorado. The unit uses Meditech charting, with 1:5 to 1:6 ratios and support from a charge nurse and 2-4 patient care technicians.

• Assess orthopedic and trauma patients
• Initiate IV access and maintain IV therapy
• Perform Foley and straight catheter care
• Apply CPM devices for specialty surgeries
• Support early mobilization and safe ambulation
• Monitor nerve block pumps and On-Q balls

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Ortho RN experience
• Acute care bedside nursing and patient education skills

• Med/Surg experience
• ACLS certification
• Meditech experience
• Team-oriented approach
