Travel Orthopedics RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Orthopedics Registered Nurse will care for postoperative orthopedic and neuro patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Denver, Colorado. The unit has 36 beds, uses Meditech, and typically runs 1:5 nurse ratios. Patients recover from total joint and spine surgery.

• Assess postoperative orthopedic and neuro patients
• Monitor pain control, mobility, and neurovascular status
• Administer medications and routine nursing treatments
• Support care for total joint and spine surgery patients
• Use immobilizers, braces, and cold treatment as ordered
• Document patient care in Meditech
• Collaborate with charge nurses, techs, and support staff

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Solid Med/Surg experience

• Ortho/Spine experience
• ACLS certification
