A Travel Orthopedics Registered Nurse will care for orthopedic and spine patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Aurora, Colorado. The unit sees joint replacement, fracture repair, and spinal injury cases, uses Meditech charting, and typically works with 1:5 ratios. Magnet-designated care supports a team-based learning environment.

• Assess orthopedic and spine patients
• Monitor recovery after joint replacement and fracture repair
• Support care for spinal injury patients
• Administer ordered treatments and medications
• Document care in Meditech
• Collaborate with the care team and reinforce patient teaching

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1-year current Med/Surg/Ortho hospital experience
• Acute care hospital and orthopedic patient care skills

• ACLS certification
• Chemotherapy certification
