Travel Orthopedics RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Orthopedics Registered Nurse will provide bedside care for orthopedic and spine patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Denver, Colorado. The unit uses Meditech charting, supports telemetry, epidurals, and PCA care, and has ratios of 4:1 for spine and 5:1 for ortho.

• Monitor orthopedic and spine patients and respond to changes in condition
• Assist with telemetry monitoring, epidural care, and PCA support
• Perform central line care and support blood transfusions
• Assist with Foley catheter and straight catheter care
• Document care in Meditech and coordinate with charge nurses and PCTs
• Promote teamwork and safe mobility for patients recovering from surgery

• Active Colorado Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of current hospital acute care orthopedic experience

• ACLS certification
• Orthopedic and spine experience
• Med Surg experience
