Travel Orthopedics RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Orthopedics Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care on a 36-bed ortho/neuro unit in Denver, Colorado for a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech, maintains a 5:1 ratio, and cares for total joint and spine surgery patients. Magnet designation and strong teamwork are noted.

• Assess orthopedic and neuro patients
• Administer medications and monitor responses
• Assist with total joint and spine surgery recovery
• Coordinate care with charge nurses, techs, and providers
• Document care in Meditech
• Support mobility, bracing, and cold therapy
• Respond to changing patient needs and complications

• Current Colorado Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 1 year of current orthopedic Registered Nurse or medical-surgical experience in a hospital setting
• BLS certification

• Orthopedic and spine surgical experience
• ACLS certification
