Travel Orthopedics RN in Lonetree, CO

A Travel Orthopedics Registered Nurse will provide care to orthopedic patients in a hospital unit in Lone Tree, Colorado on a 13-week contract. The unit has 44 beds, uses Meditech, and commonly manages drains, wound vacs, chest tubes, and mobility equipment. Patient ratios are typically 1:5 and may reach 1:6.

• Assess orthopedic patients and monitor recovery
• Manage drains, wound vacs, chest tubes, Foley catheters, and PCA therapy
• Support mobility and safe patient transfers with lifting equipment
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse and care team
• Document care and patient status in Meditech
• Assist with drain removal and infusion team procedures as needed

• Current Colorado Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1 year current acute care hospital orthopedics experience

• Orthopedic or trauma background
• Medical-surgical experience
