Travel Orthopedics RN in Englewood, CO

A Travel Orthopedics Registered Nurse will provide inpatient ortho care in an acute care hospital unit in Englewood, Colorado on a 13-week contract. The unit serves elective orthopedic and ortho trauma patients in a 30-bed setting with Meditech charting and ratios of 1:5 or 1:6.

• Provide direct care to elective orthopedic and trauma patients
• Administer and monitor postoperative treatments, pain control, and mobility support
• Assist with IV starts, Foley and straight catheterization, and other bedside procedures
• Apply CPM devices and support nerve block pump and On-Q ball care
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse, PCTs, therapy, and the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in Meditech
• Educate patients and families on recovery, safety, and activity goals

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of acute care hospital Orthopedics Registered Nurse experience

• Med/Surg experience
• ACLS certification
• Meditech experience
