Travel Orthopedics RN in Maryville, TN

A Travel Orthopedics Registered Nurse will provide inpatient orthopedic care in an acute care hospital unit during a 13-week contract in Maryville, Tennessee. The unit serves adults and geriatrics with an average daily census of 15 to 20 in a 30-bed setting.

• Assess and monitor orthopedic patients
• Administer medications and blood products
• Manage IV therapy, peripheral lines, and telemetry
• Support mobility, pain control, and recovery planning
• Coordinate care with therapy and other support teams
• Document care in the electronic record
• Respond to changing patient needs in a surgical unit

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license or multistate privilege
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of orthopedic nursing experience
• 1 year of EPIC experience
• Blood product administration, IV insertion and maintenance, telemetry, peripheral line care and management
• Prior travel experience

• Orthopedic trauma experience
• Total joint replacement experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Community hospital experience
