Travel Occupational Therapist in Portland, OR

A Travel Acute Care Occupational Therapist will provide rehabilitation care in a short term acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, uses Epic, and is part of a teaching hospital. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Evaluate adult and geriatric patients
• Develop and update individualized plans of care
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and safe patient handling
• Provide discharge planning and home exercise instruction
• Educate patients and families on daily function and safety
• Document care and reassess progress in Epic

• Oregon Occupational Therapist license
• BLS certification
• NBCOT certification
• 1 year of inpatient acute care hospital experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program

• Trauma Level I experience
• Trauma Level II experience
