Travel Occupational Therapist in Overland Park, KS

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide inpatient therapy care for acute care and rehab patients in a hospital in Overland Park, Kansas on an 8-week contract. The unit uses Meditech and treats 8 to 10 acute care patients or 4 rehab patients.

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and treatments for acute care and rehab patients
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and adaptive equipment use
• Monitor patient progress and update therapy plans with the care team
• Document therapy services in Meditech
• Support discharge planning and patient education
• Coordinate care with inpatient rehab staff

• Kansas Occupational Therapist license
• BLS
• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Acute care and inpatient rehab therapy skills

• Inpatient rehab experience
