Travel Occupational Therapist in Wichita, KS

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide evaluations and treatments in an acute care hospital in Wichita, Kansas on a 13-week contract. The unit supports about 250 active consults each day, with a 2:1 OTR to COTA ratio and Meditech charting. It serves a complex mix of diagnoses and values autonomy, collaboration, and interdisciplinary care planning.

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations
• Provide direct treatment for acute care patients
• Develop and adjust care plans
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Use general acute care DME in patient care
• Document findings and progress in Meditech

• Active Kansas Occupational Therapist license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 6 months of hospital Occupational Therapist experience
• Strong independent practice and communication skills

• Trauma experience
• Comprehensive stroke experience
