Travel Occupational Therapist in Wichita, KS

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide evaluations and treatments in an acute care hospital unit during a 13-week contract in Wichita, Kansas. The caseload includes about 250 active consults a day, with 8-10 assigned to each therapist, a 2:1 OTR to COTA ratio, and Meditech charting. The team is collaborative and supports independent care planning.

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations
• Deliver occupational therapy treatments
• Plan and adjust care for acute patients
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Document patient progress and care plans
• Use general acute care durable medical equipment

• 6 months of acute care hospital Occupational Therapist experience
• Active Kansas Occupational Therapist license
• BLS certification

• Trauma experience
• Comprehensive stroke experience
